This site holds a very prominent location in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Portrush overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

The development took form in a series of 20 detached and semi-detached homes with 5 different house types each bespokely designed to a contemporary architectural language orientating views towards the ocean. Each house type was defined with a language of undulating roof formations and canted projecting chimney breasts. Projections from the first floor living allow for balcony space whilst providing protection to the ground floor from the coastal winds and rain.

Materials selected were a combination of render painted white, timber cladding and Corten steel cladding. Fenestration largely geared the determination of the facades and the interaction with the ocean views meant careful proportional design was paramount.
